Why We Built This Site
Colorado makes much court information available to the public, yet the route depends on what a person needs. Colorado Judicial Docket Search publishes hearing information. CoCourts offers broader statewide case data as an authorized vendor. The Clerk of Court at Arapahoe County Combined Courts maintains the official District and County Court files. Aurora, Centennial, Littleton, Englewood, Greenwood Village, and other municipalities keep their own city cases. The elected Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder is not the court clerk. Bringing those distinctions, contact points, case codes, and request steps together helps a reader start with the proper custodian.
What You Will Find Here
The site focuses on finding and understanding public docket information, not reproducing a government database.
- Docket pages: local detail for criminal court dockets and civil court dockets
- Hearing access: ways to read the court schedule and confirm a setting
- Case lookup: guidance for a docket search by case number or name
- Record requests: steps for obtaining court case records, an ROA, or a certified copy
What We Cannot Do
This resource is privately operated and has no connection to a Colorado court, government agency, or clerk. It cannot perform the official acts reserved for the court.
- Retrieve or issue an official docket or case file
- Set, cancel, continue, or confirm a court appearance
- Change, seal, remove, or correct a case record
- Provide a certified copy, transcript, or court order
- Offer legal advice about any claim, charge, deadline, or result
- Guarantee that a fee, contact detail, or online entry has not changed
Only the court or clerk that maintains the original file can provide an official or certified record. Always verify information there.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain a search box supplied by an outside provider. That provider controls its service, results, terms, and prices. A paid signup may produce a referral payment that supports this free reference site. We do not operate the partner’s database and cannot control or certify what it returns.
